I am not a believer in therapy needing to be forever. I believe that therapy is completed in cycles and my goal is to get you successfully through at least one of those with me. My approach to individual services goes in three phases. We work collaboratively to determine who you believe yourself to be, how did you get here, and then the final step is getting you where you need to be. Phase I is the most challenging and difficult part. The goal isn’t to become the best version of you but to learn to love all versions of you.

Couples counseling is good regardless of what stage you are in your relationship. We all have shit and we often bring it to the table creating unfair fighting and discord as a result. With that being said, I only do couples counseling if both parties are in individual services.

Hypnotherapy is the practice of psychotherapy with a client who is in a hypnotic altered state of consciousness. It is a powerful way to access the source of distress. It enables people to be able to reconnect with dissociated emotions and disowned parts of themselves.
Hypnotherapy helps the therapist and client get closer to the source of issues by opening the doorway to their subconscious mind (Wellness Institute). It can be used to help with an varies of mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical issues.
Unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover Hypnotherapy making it a cash service.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro in the late 1980s, is a highly focused 8-phased evidenced-based treatment that helps people heal from traumatic and other life-distressing events.
ur brains have a natural way to recover from traumatic memories and events. This process involves communication between the amygdala (the alarm signal for stressful events), the hippocampus (which assists with learning, including memories about safety and danger), and the prefrontal cortex (which analyzes and controls behavior and emotion). While many times traumatic experiences can be managed and resolved spontaneously, they may not be processed without help.
Stress responses are a part of our natural fight, flight, or freeze instincts. When distress from a disturbing event remains, the upsetting images, thoughts, and emotions may create an overwhelming feeling of being back in that moment or being “frozen in time” (Christina Granados Therapy).
EMDR therapy helps the brain process these memories and allows normal healing to resume. The experience is still remembered, but the fight, flight, or freeze response from the original event is resolved (Christina Granados Therapy).
EMDR is evidenced based modality and covered by your insurance.
